Call No. 264

Hi, my name is [redacted] and I’m a 66 year old woman living in Mill Valley which is just north of San Francisco and I’ve been sequestered for 11 days now.

And I start my morning with dose of news, which really starts my day with a lot of anxiety and panic, and then I decide to add on top of that coffee to make sure that I’m totally agitated for the day. And then I start working in my industry, which is the hospitality industry, where I call on hotels, and as you know, all the hotels and [unintelligible] destinations are kind of closed and are in panic mode.

So, my day is quite numbing. And then at the end of the day, I take a walk in beautiful, sunny, gorgeous Mill Valley. And the birds are chirping and the neighbors are friendly and the kids and families are riding their bikes. Albeit, we’re all six feet apart, playing by the rules. And it feels like Pleasantville. And it feels completely confused. What is reality? And then I end my day at dusk, and that’s when all of Mill Valley, they start howling at the moon. And here’s the sound of what that sounds like.
